Problem Statement

The homeowner desired a walkout balcony to expand their living space and enjoy the outdoors. However, the limited space posed a significant challenge. Conventional balcony support structures were not feasible due to the restricted area, necessitating an innovative solution that provided both structural integrity and aesthetics while maximising the available space.

What we did

    • Opted for a gallows bracket system to provide structural support.

    • Designed the balcony with meticulous attention to detail to ensure a perfect fit within the confined space.
    • The structure was expertly manufactured in-house, guaranteeing precise dimensions and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  4. Manufacturing and Finishing:
    • Galvanised and powder-coated the balcony structure for protection against the elements and to achieve a sleek finish.
    • Fabricated bespoke black railings for the balustrade, adding elegance and ensuring safety without obstructing views.
    • Finished the flooring with composite decking, a durable and aesthetically pleasing material that harmonised with the overall design.

Outcome

Despite the space constraints, Arc Metal Design delivered a stunning walkout balcony that exceeded the client's expectations. The gallows bracket system provided a sturdy and secure base while maximising available space. The sleek design and black railings created a contemporary aesthetic that seamlessly integrated with the home's architecture.
